The LiMAR Slimline Cutting Overshot is used to snip and retrieve stuck Coiled Tubing Strings in situations where retrieval of the entire string and BHA has proven unsuccessful.
The Overshot has been designed to minimise wall thickness and also offer maximum strength, providing a solution to latch and cut Coiled Tubing through the most challenging of well-bore restrictions. The tool features a shearable bowl which at a predetermined over-pull allows the cutting blades to engage the Coiled Tubing String and sever the tubing leaving a clean profile, free of sharp edges.
