The LiMAR Wire Grab is used during fishing operations to locate and retrieve parted slickline or braided line back to surface.
After locating and balling up the top of the parted wire the LiMAR® Wire Grab is then run to snag the wire in the upward facing barbs of the Grab arms. A jar up to release function directly above the Wire Grab provides a release point if the parted wire cannot be retrieved back to surface. The LiMAR® Universal Dummy Fish Neck or the LiMAR® SU Pulling Tool and Dummy Rope Socket arrangement are highly recommended options during wire recovery operations.
